A18 is the University-Focused, Church-Planting arm of the Summit Collaborative - a movement within a movement specifically to reach students, grow leaders, and of course to multiply churches.

Our vision is simple and bold: to be a movement committed to planting gospel-centered churches that reach college students at every major university.

A18 MVMT, taken from Acts 1:8, where Jesus says that, empowered by the Holy Spirit, we will be His witnesses locally, nationally, and to the ends of the earth. That verse has been the heartbeat of our college movement since day one. A18 is exactly that - a simple, memorable identity rooted in Scripture, mission, and sending.

Why the

name a18?

Why is the Summit Collaborative planting more churches near universities?

College students are some of the most reachable, moldable, & sendable people in the world, and we believe God has the Summit Collaborative a role to plant churches near the 400 major universities around the country. Planting churches near university centers would be a part of impacting lostness in a substantial way, and be catalytic in raising up future kingdom leaders in church & society in order to accomplish our dream of planting a 1000 churches in this generation.
